ACT for Drew and Offek today....

Drew and Offek

The sky was still gray as I drove Drew and Offek to Orange High School in Hillsborough NC to take there ACT. I am thankful that the rain is not like we experienced yesterday. I have not seen that much rain in a long time and Tropical Storm Andrea was not very friendly to the triangle leaving us with so much flooding.
Waking up early is not my favorite thing to do and I was so surprised to have been woken up by Drew. He was ready to go. As I type this post I know that he is sitting in a classroom answering the questions and trying his best. Drew and standardized test do not always equal great happiness and I hate the fact that his number one school choice is NOT test optional. I know he will do his best and we will go from there. This is the second time Drew is taking the ACT and the first time for Offek.
Mariah is training in the gym and we should have left 2 minutes ago so let me run.

ACT UPDATE: Drew felt he did much better this time and seemed very upbeat. Offek said that he thought the test was MEAN and really trying to bully him. That made me laugh. I love his sincere comments.
