The Tumor Nonossifying Fibroma

This tumor is not cancer and for this we are thankful. We are learning more about Mariah's tumor and what our options are for her and her future. Gymnastics is probably not the best sport for this defect but we will wait and here more on Tuesday. The UNC doctor recommended that he follow the tumor closely with x rays. This type of tumor is slow growing and has been know to weaken the bone and cause stress fractures. We will hear what Duke has to say on Tuesday and plan from there. Thanking God that the tumor is benign!! I hope to look back at this blog in years ahead and say remember when......
