Or should I say hump night. WOW it's Wednesday and my body feels like it should be Friday. I am back in the swing of life but I find that I am so exhausted after teaching or doing activity after a few hours. I had a doctors visit yesterday and she reported to me that I may suffer from the pain of these awful shingles for days, weeks and even in some cases months. I pray that the pain will lessen if that is a word and fade away. She changed my meds so I'm praying for relief.
Doug is away at a hotel in Raleigh preparing to take his CFP exam on Friday and Saturday. I kissed him goodbye as I left for Duke this morning knowing that he is going to do awesome and pass this freaking exam. He has studied non stop for what seems like months. Mariah called him tonight looking for her bowl so that she could make fondue and he was so patient and calm.
This week I have been discussing with my Duke students there course final. I cant believe that we only have 4 more classes before this term is over. I have loved teaching these kids and am going to miss them lots. I plan to post the dance finals on you tube and will put the link here.
Drew seems to stay busy as usual and is playing alot of basketball these days I sent him a Thanksgiving card today with some cash and encouragement and can't wait to see him next Tuesday for Thanksgiving break. We are planning to have guest for Thanksgiving and stay in town to hopefully spend quality time together and relax. Just typing that makes me daydream and smile. Thinking about our menu for Thanksgiving is fun but thinking of all I have to be thankful for is even better. I have loved the post friends have been putting on face book daily about all they are thankful for.
Cheers,
Missy
