| The 18 year old. |
Today Drew Edmond Daffron turns 18. Drew is spending his 18th birthday at VES the prep school he attends in Lynchburg Virginia and I am spending my day teaching classes at Duke, taking Mariah for a checkup X-ray on her tumor in her leg. I wish we were spending the day together, but in 2 days Drew will arrive home for spring break and we will leave for Dominican Republic.
Drew is an amazing young man and the most wonderful son any parent could ever ask for. I never imaged that time would have flown so fast and that the newborn I gave birth to would grow to be this outstanding guy. I have loved the past 18 years and can only believe how great the next 18 will be.
Happy Birthday Drew Edmond Daffron!!! Love you to the moon and back.
