New Years Eve Saying Goodbye to 2013

As I sit here on New Years eve and write this blog I realize that I have neglected my blog since November. I always said I would get to it the next day and before I knew it the year was over. I plan to go back and fill in the blanks so that we may look back at this amazing life journey, but for now I wish you a very peaceful, healthful and prosperous New Year!!

Starting tomorrow I have a goal of blogging every day of 2014. Yes folks that means that I will post something every single day of the year that will be 365 days. There really is so much happening in our lives I am making it a priority.

GOALS FOR 2014......

What are your goals?

Merry Christmas

I didn't ever think that I would arrive at the day where my kids didn't wake us up so early that after we celebrate Christmas and opened gifts the sun was beginning to come up and in order to make it through the day I needed to go back to sleep. Well we have arrived there. Drew came into our room around 830am and was so laid back and kind asking us if we were ready for the day. Shaking my head that we were given a surprise gift of sleeping in we started the day, that is after the coffee pot was brewing and the camera was unplugged. As you see from the pervious post the kids opened a gift last night and Drew opened his X-Box One and Mariah her cell phone. They were very happy and grateful. Heres wishing you a very Merry Christmas!!

Good News and such.

Drew has some good news. He was accepted into Eckerd College and some more waiting to do because he was deferred at North Carolina State. They will tell him yes or no in March. He has also been given very generous scholarships from Lynchburg College and Eckerd College. We are extremely proud of his hard work and determination. Way to ROCK Drew.
