Hair...

I have made a big change and it is not just moving back to the states. I changed my hair color to BROWN!?!? I gotta say I like it and I think it is close to my natural color. I have been thinking of doing this for a while and just decided to go for it last night.. I will post a photo soon.
So excited about the upcoming start to Duke and school for Mariah. I was dancing a bit of salsa today and really did not want to stop.
Seems like alot of storms are happening in FL this week we had an unreal lighting storm last night and boy was it scary. The Internet and cable were out from around 8 ish and did not return while I was awake last night.
I am heading to NC tomorrow and am so looking forward to seeing my guys and gal, can't wait to give them a big hug and catch up.
I have been doing so much research today and am so excited to be working on so many cool projects, I will have to make more progress and then reveal them to you.
I am going to close for now but will be back soon.
Smiles,
Missy

LIFE IN THE USA......

Long time no posting but here I am. We are settling into the new norm for us as a family and have the great adventure of one additional child and a rockin housekeeper/nanny. I am so missing the DR and can't believe that I would go through as much withdraw as I have. I miss my great friends and the simple life, I do not miss the roads, heat and crazy drivers. Drew is going to a private school and is slowly adjusting and Mariah will start her new school next week. Mariah DID attend the Christan school that Drew and Omar are attending but it was not a good fit for her and we had to pull her out on the second day. I have so many Mariah stories and would love to share them but think that the blog is way to open and public for all to read !! You have to have coffee with me and I will tell all :-)
I am currently in Florida at the shop working and having a blast with all the girls and awesome dresses, you would not believe. I arrived last night in the middle of a tornado and will leave on Thur in time to attend the Greensboro competition, I am so looking forward to seeing all my great FADS friends.
Doug, Mariah and I attended the memorial service of a great lady that worked for us in Greensboro and Winston Salem. Beth Horton passed away suddenly last week of a massive stroke and I must say it was a very sad and unfortunate way to connect with alot of wonderful students and staff from this area. It is really hard for me to approach a mother and father in a situation when they have lost a child. I feel so much pain for them and words are not quiet enough in these times.
Dancing With the Stars announced the cast today and I must say I am excited to see and hear who is matched with what professionals. I think it will be a great season.
I am feeling a strong desire to go and see a show this season I have never taken the time to do this but really want to this season. I will keep you posted.
I am still at the shop and think I should close and get dinner and prepare for tomorrow so I will close for now. Here's to many more post while we are here in the states.
Blessings to all,

Missy
